F.A.Q. for Team-Building Hosts

1. How many people can you accommodate at your studio?
We can host up to 16 people in our downtown LA studio. We recommend a minimum of 6 participants.

2. Can you come to our office to teach a sushi class?
Yes! We charge a $300 travel fee for classes held at your office.

3. Do you serve alcoholic beverages?
No, we donโ€™t serve alcohol, but BYOB is welcome! Please note we have a limited number of water glasses, so we kindly ask you to bring your own cups.

4. How much do you charge if we bring our own drinks?
No fee if drinking starts during the dining time. If youโ€™d like to drink from the start of the class, a small fee may apply, as early drinking can slow the cooking process. This may require extra prep work or additional staff.

5. We are celebrating! Can we bring a dessert?
Absolutely! Please bring serving plates and utensils if your group size exceeds what we can provide.

6. How long is your class?
Our classes typically last 3 hours, including cooking and dining. If you need a shorter class, let us knowโ€”we can adjust the schedule.

7. What time can we start the class?
You can start anytime between 9 AM and 6 PM. Keep in mind the start time affects dining; for example, a 6 PM start means dining around 8 PM.

8. How is the process of booking a private class?
After selecting your class/menu, weโ€™ll send you a private class application form. A $200 deposit and the completed form are required to secure your booking.

9. What is your most popular private cooking class?
Our most popular options are sushi (both Mastermind sushi and Nigiri sushi), ramen, izakaya and bento classes. For inclusivity, sushi is ideal for vegetarians or those with dietary restrictions. Ramen can also accommodate vegetarians.
